SHINE - 2nd Thurs 

The mobile distributions are jointly sponsored with the Poquoson Mobile Food Pantry and are the largest distribution each month.  All items are available as supplies last.  New registrations are taken on site for residents of zip codes 23662 and 23693.

Registered neighbors with medical or transportation issues may request a Poquoson delivery (between 11 am and noon) or a late pick up after 12 pm by calling the church office Mon - Wed 8 am - 2 pm.  All deliveries are made by volunteers.

SHINE Pantry

The SHINE Pantry is a personal shopping experience and includes items not available at the mobile distribution, in addition to serving those who were unable to come to that month's Mobile Food Pantry. Once a month visits are welcome!

SHINE serves residents in zip codes 23662 and 23693. All items are provided as supplies last.

The SHINE Ministry exists to reflect the love and light of Jesus Christ through acts of compassion, encouragement, and service within our church and throughout our community.

Whether serving individuals in need, supporting local outreach efforts, or providing care and encouragement to others, this ministry seeks to be the hands and feet of Jesus in practical ways.  

We believe that when the love of Christ shines through His people, lives are impacted and communities are transformed. SHINE at Emmaus is a partner agency of the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank.
