HEAR ME ROAR: A 5-WEEK SERIES FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT ON DANIEL
WEEK 1 BIG IDEA: I won’t give up. God is with me!
WEEK 2 BIG IDEA: I’m not alone. God is with me!
WEEK 3 BIG IDEA: I can keep learning. God is with me!
WEEK 4 BIG IDEA: I’m not afraid. God is with me!
WEEK 5 BIG IDEA: I don’t know the future, but I know God is with me!
There’s a reason lions are symbols of courage — even their roars (which can be heard up to five miles away) tell us how strong they are! And because of God’s promises, we can be as strong and bold as lions, too. In this five-week series, kids will learn important truths from the life of Daniel they’ll want to shout (or roar!), like how we don’t have to give up and don’t have to feel alone. Instead, we can keep learning and not be afraid, even when we don’t know the future. Why? Because God is with us!
September Volunteer of the Month
Join us in congratulating Leslie Roberts as our volunteer of the month. Leslie is an all-star who serves on the children’s committee, leads monthly lessons, fills in in addition to monthly serving, and supports all the children’s events. Leslie serves with a smile and enthusiasm to share the Word with our children. I truly value her input and appreciate all of our volunteers’ suggestions, feedback, and praises. Thank you, Mrs. Leslie, for your continued dedication and support in Children’s ministry.

ebcNursery is provided during Sunday School and Worship Services. Volunteers are trained by the Children’s Director and provide a secure and loving environment for babies and toddlers.
ebcPreschool and ebcKids meet during Sunday School (9:15 am) and Worship (10:30 am). We believe God desires for all of His church to join in worship together, therefore, our children experience worship with the rest of the congregation to prepare them and equip them to be the church’s future before transitioning to age appropriate teaching and activities.
ebcKids (K – 5th grade) is located on the 2nd floor of the Sanctuary building. Look for the ebckids sign at the bottom of the stairs.
ebcNursery and ebcPreschool are located on the first floor of the Sanctuary building. Check out the gallery of photos below.
Safety is our top priority. All teachers and volunteers must pass a back-ground check prior to working in ebcNursery, ebcPreschool and ebcKids areas. All teachers and volunteers also attend Safety Training workshops.
Please sign in your children on the first floor at the security station prior to going upstairs to the ebcKids classrooms or entering the ebcNursery and ebcPreschool area. Each child will receive a unique security badge, and parents will obtain a security assurance identifier used to pick up their child after church.
