Our programs are filled with age-appropriate teaching, music, and fun activities all designed to help your child learn and become passionate followers of Jesus. We love what we do and the children we get to work with! Want to know more about joining Emmaus?
Fill out the online Welcome Card or, if visiting in person, complete the communication card and place in the offering plate, letting Pastor Scott know that you would like to talk about salvation, baptism and/or membership. Or you may choose to personally let Pastor Scott know of your interest after the worship service. And, when you are ready, you can always call the church office at 757-868-9215 and schedule a meeting with Pastor Scott.
What is the COC?
The COC is our friendly name for the Christian Outreach Center, a large building behind the sanctuary that includes a gym, kitchen, conference room, smaller classrooms and church offices. Large church gatherings are held in this facility as well as organized activities such as exercise classes, meetings, city-wide youth basketball, and receptions. The COC is also the location for voting in Poquoson’s Western precinct and hosts the American Red Cross Blood Bank.
Where is the Fellowship Hall?
The Fellowship Hall is located behind the Chapel, the original white building built in 1878. Smaller than the COC, it is adjacent to a kitchen and is used for smaller gatherings and meetings. A new breezeway connects the sanctuary building to the education building where the Fellowship Hall and Chapel are found at the end of the hall.

EBC’s Church Offices are located just inside the COC, the Christian Outreach Center. The offices are open Monday – Thursday, 8 am – 3 pm, except for holidays. The office phone is 757-868-9215.
